I am a relatively new addition to the NYC scene. This is my story of growing here. This blog is dedicated to my NYC experience, no matter how trivial some parts of it might be.

Tip Economy

Why not give tips to salesmen at clothing stores? I think it would encourage them to provide the best possible service and if tips became commonplace they could reduce commission which could eventually reduce the total cost of clothing.

Paying someone a tip should be much cheaper than the amount of markup added to figure in the salesman's commission.

Who is with me? Let's start a tip economy. Where else can this be implemented?
